Muna has previous experience working with children with different needs including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and general developmental delays. Muna provides psychoeducational assessments of ability and attainment as well as interventions for students with various learning needs, with a focus on children presenting with literacy difficulties, ADHD and dyslexia. Muna’s approach capitalizes on her background in psychology to better understand a child’s behaviour, strengths and difficulties, in addition to ideal teaching methods and motivators. This system provides a holistic approach which embraces each child’s differences and attempts to create an optimal environment to support the child’s learning.
Muna received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Psychology. She then obtained her Master of Arts degree in Special and Inclusive Education at the University College of London (UCL). During her studies for her master’s degree, some of Muna’s research focused on ways to enhance the overall academic and social experience for individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as how to support children with different educational needs in schools.
