Speech & Language Therapist

Aya Sarrtawi

Aya Wael Sartawi is a Speech and Language Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Jordan (2014). She works with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Aya specializes in speech and language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, autism spectrum disorder, orofacial myofunctional disorders, cleft lip and palate, and dysphagia. She also provides behavioral modification strategies for communication, social skills training, and parent/caregiver coaching to ensure progress continues beyond the therapy room.

Her therapeutic practice integrates PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), the Shape Coding System, behavioral modification techniques, autism-focused interventions, swallowing assessments (MBSImP), and cleft care approaches. Aya’s philosophy is rooted in a client-centered, evidence-based, and holistic approach, creating supportive environments where children, adolescents, and adults can build confidence, develop essential skills, and thrive. She believes in combining structured therapy with play-based and functional methods while involving families and caregivers in the process.
