Zena Budiri is a Mental Health Counsellor and Junior Psychologist with an M.A. in Human Development Counseling (Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling concentration) from the University of Illinois Springfield (2021) and a B.A. in Counseling and Mental Health from the University of Jordan (2011). She works primarily with adults and couples, supporting individuals navigating life transitions such as marriage, divorce, job loss, and bereavement.
Her areas of expertise include depression, generalized anxiety disorder, health anxiety, panic disorder, and ADHD. Zena’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) while also incorporating Gestalt Therapy, Humanistic/Rogerian approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Systems Theory. She sees clients through a systemic lens, creating a warm and validating environment while also challenging them toward greater self-awareness and growth.
