Ola Khourchid is a Senior Psychologist with an MSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool. Since joining Maria Den Braven Center in 2015, she has specialized in working with adults experiencing mood and personality disorders, particularly within clusters B and C. Ola supports individuals struggling with challenges rooted in patterns of emotional under-control or over-control, helping them develop balance, resilience, and healthier ways of relating to themselves, others, and the world.
Her integrative approach draws on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and art therapy. She works with clients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, avoidant, dependent, and obsessive-compulsive personality disorders, as well as depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. Ola views therapy as a collaborative process, focused on building skills, fostering self-awareness, and reconnecting clients with their values. She believes that while mastering techniques is important, what truly matters is meeting another person in their vulnerability, human soul to human soul.
